Minutes of Council Meeting, 9 May 2017
Members present: Iris Atkins, Pastor Ron Hovick, Dawn Andrews, Georgene Nightingale, Tom Brosche, Alicia Saenz, Doug Essex, Skip Knugsen, Nancy Dreesen, Gabby Gutierrez.
Members not present: Nan Stufkosky and Elaine Tatus,
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by President Iris Atkins. Pastor Ron began the meeting with a prayer.
April minutes were read and amended. A motion was made by Nancy Dreesen and seconded by Georgene Nightingale to approve. Motion was approved by all.
March minutes were read and amended. A motion was made by Nancy Dreesen and seconded by Pastor Ron Hovick to approve. Motion was approved by all.
Nancy Dreesen reported the Personnel Committee hired a new Music Director and Bookkeeper.
Audit team was selected and include Sandy Bushfield, Linney Winfield and Gabby Gutierrez.
Pastor reported the Endowment Committee could not approve our request for a loan to move forward with the school project.
Financial report given by Gabby Gutierrez motion to approve was made by Alicia Saenz and seconded by Pastor Ron Hovick and approved by all.
Amended amount to $1,070 monies moved from fund 36580 Clearing Account for wedding and funerals to 30200.
Council meeting was adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
