The meeting was called to order at 7:08PM by President David Perez. Pastor Ron led with a prayer.
The minutes from the February meeting were not available.
Ron Phillips from Thrivent gave an overview of the “101 Action Team” projects available to churches.
Treasurers Report: Treasurer Laura Ortiz explained that some church expenses are paid once a year and it appears to show as a large imbalance. To counter this she is dividing these expenses into 1/12th amounts so they appear as a monthly expense to evenly distribute the amounts. Also, the Cash Flow Trend Report will add a monthly figure to the year-to-date-figure to show how money flows.
The motion to accept the report was made by David, seconded by Bob and passed unanimously.
Director of Operations Report: The Charter School proposal is moving forward. There is a local government review that takes three to four months, meaning we are pushing the Fall start date.
Current tenant, Upper Room, has submitted a proposal to expand and increase rent. They have expanded recently and has, in Bret’s words “grown into the type of tenant we desire.”
Pastor Ron added that the K-6 Charter school is promising and moving forward.
Bret will draft a Hold Harmless Agreement for Perez Care to work on landscape.
