Non Members present: Tom Brosche, Gaby Gutierrez

The meeting was called to order by President David Perez at 7:00 PM.  Pastor Ron opened with prayer.

Solar presentation:  Tom Brosche, representing Zing Solar, gave the Council information regarding the use of solar panels on St Marks property.  Showing the Council the charts he produced, Tom says St Marks  spends about $13,000 annually for electricity.  Using an intermediary investment company, Kina’ola, they would pay for the equipment and installation of panels at St Marks.  Kina’ola is one of the few companies that will works with non-profits.  He estimated that St Marks bill would then be zero or close to it.  At the end of six years, St Marks would have the option to purchase the equipment for $66,000 which would then continue to provide electricity for the 20 year warranty period.  Tom believes the system would be 95% efficient for 25 years.  The Council thanked Tom for his work and will take his information for consideration.

The minutes of the July meeting were read.  Pastor Ron made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Georgene, approved by all.

Financial report.  Laura Ortiz said the audits for 2012, 2013, and 2014 were turned in. There will be partial audits for 2009, 2010, and 2011, as allowed by the Constitution.  The motion was made to accept the report, seconded by Dawn, approved by all except Georgene.
