Brick Fundraiser
70th Anniversary Commemorative Brick: Order One Today
As a special way to remember this historic occasion in the St. Mark’s community, we have designed a special 70th Anniversary Brick. The brick is 8” x 8” with 2 lines of text available, for a total of 40 characters & spaces (20 per line) and will cost $300 each. The funds will go directly to the Campus Revitalization Fundraiser. We will place the first order for these bricks on October 31, to ensure we receive them in time to install them in the new memorial brick patio at the north side of Jacobson Hall. The brick patio will be expandable, so additional bricks can be added over the years. You will see this patio when you exit the sanctuary, directly in front of you. The 70th Anniversary bricks will join the 68 “Celebrating God’s Love” bricks ordered over the last 3 years that are waiting to be installed. Here is our sample brick, which should arrive in the next couple weeks.
Won’t it be fun to see our love and thanksgiving in a beautiful, serene garden space like the architect’s rendering below?
Celebrating God’s Love: Brick by Brick Purchase one brick paver or several. Engravings can be purchased in your name, in the name of a friend or family member; in celebration of a birth, quinceañera, graduation, wedding or anniversary; in honor of a soldier or veteran; or in memory of someone you love. Honor a casual effort; commemorate a special occasion or achievement, remember a loved one . . . the possibilities are endless with this classy laser engraving technology.
As we prepare to finally install our memorial walkway from the sanctuary to Jacobson Hall, as part of the upgrades for the childcare facility, you are invited to add a memorial brick, or two, to honor a special person or event. Over the last several years, we have limited orders to the summer. This year we are re-opening the order window now and will leave it open until June 30, 2024. We need a minimum of 10 orders to receive free shipping for these heavy, personally engraved bricks. We encourage you to check out the sample brick in the Narthex and complete an order form to add your brick to this special walkway. Once the childcare facility is completed, this walkway will be the normal way to get to Jacobson Hall. The walkway will be wheelchair and walker accessible–a short, comfortable walk from the sanctuary with no steps. Don’t miss out, place your order today.
We are recommending upper and lower case letters for better readability, but if you use ALL CAPS on your order form, Fundraising Brick will print the brick accordingly.
